Shoto Todoroki is a prominent character in the popular anime series, My Hero Academia. He is a student at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero.

Born into a Quirk marriage arranged by his ambitious father, Endeavor (the current Number One Hero), Shoto possesses a powerful combination of ice and fire abilities. His right side generates ice, inherited from his mother, while his left side produces flames, a manifestation of his father's Quirk.

Traumatized by his upbringing and the abuse inflicted upon his mother, Shoto initially rejected using his fire Quirk, associating it with his father's oppressive control. He vowed to become a hero using only his ice power, seeking to defy Endeavor's expectations.

Throughout the series, Shoto undergoes significant character development, gradually learning to accept and control both sides of his Quirk. He strives to define his own path as a hero, independent of his father's influence, and to heal the emotional wounds of his past.
